Custom Made Footwear
Steenwyk Custom Shoes & Orthotics specializes in manufacturing custom made footwear to address the specific needs of individuals with structural foot deformities and special mechanics deficiencies. Our primary focus is on specialty orthopedic footwear to accomodate bony, structural deformities of the feet and lower leg due to congenital deformities and system conditions (ie severe arthritis, diabetic Charcot feet).
At this time, we do not manufacture footwear for normal fit concerns (extra width, extra depth), mismatch feet (different sizes), or mild foot conditions (ie plantar fasciitis, metatarsalgia) without structural deformities. We manufacture footwear for our local clients as well as the clients of affliated clinicians across Canada. Presently we work exclusively for clinicians who are trained professionals in the foot care industry and do not provide services to independent individuals seeking custom made footwear.
